Welcome to the FreakHound Studios Endorsement Program

Here you will find all of the information you need about said program, expectations, and how to apply.

By becoming a fully endorsed artist you will be advertised as such on my website as a provider of quality paws or plush/sculptures. Said artist will be given a grade based off of their ability to execute the pattern, professionalism and techniques in comparison to my own.

An endorsement lasts 1 year at a time and must be renewed every year by not only taking initiative and getting into contact with me (good communication), but by providing proof of continued work status, good customer relations and an updated location. (An address is not necessary, just an update on which country you currently live in; of which will be listed with your endorsement).
You will receive a reminder 1 month before your endorsement runs out :)

Grades will be broken down to include things such as
-Seams
-Fur trimming/prep. work
-Ladder stitching
-Machine sewing
-Materials used
-Communication skills
-Professionalism
-Deduction skills and ability to adapt and innovate

Grades will be as follows
A)Flawless execution, stitch distance is great, machine sewing is accurate, professional and great to work with, shows an ability to alter the pattern and even create their own iterations. Might overshare a bit but brings it back no problem.
B) Some thread showing, trimming could be a little better, overshares to a point that I know a little too much about them, can execute the pattern with some explaining.
C) A bit messy, needs improvement to charge top dollar, overshares personal details to the point that I feel uncomfortable, needs a lot of hand holding to understand simple sewing techniques and concepts.
Fail) Needs to be taught how to hand sew, needs to be taught how to machine sew, fails to understand what quality material looks and feels like, unable to communicate in a timely manor, fails to keep reasonable deadlines. Dropped out of the course.

Any failed artist will NOT be listed and you may ask to not be listed if you are unsatisfied with your grade.


The endorsement program currently includes

-Feral K9 Paws 2.0 (AVAILABLE for October 20th)
-Complex wolf soft sculpture (UNAVAILABLE)

Feral K9 Paws 2.0
-The one on one endorsement course and pattern is FREE and through discord. You will need to be comfortable having a camera on. Your work space will not be judged but do NOT be inappropriate or you will be dropped from the program.
-1 day a week commitment every Tuesday 11am-5pm Auckland NZ time.
-2-5 sessions total depending on how quick you are to pick up the lessons.
-You are required to ship the final finished paws to me in order to receive a grade and official endorsement, as well as pay for their return if you want them returned. This is the only part that will cost you! I will return them with your endorsement certificate and some local chocolate bars at no extra cost ;)
-If you want to drop the course part way through, take the pattern and run, you can. But you will NOT receive an official endorsement from me.

Lastly you may raise your grade by sending in a new pair of paws if you feel that you have gotten better and want to up your grade! Please be sure to contact me before sending in your updated work in.
