It was now time to line the mouth.
Used some beautiful red velvet for this part.
Pattern was drawn up with some tape.
3 fabric pieces for this part.
At this time I also added some foam to the bottom of the jaw for he needed a neck!

Made 4 more teeth for the lower set which adds 12 more fabric pieces to our count.

Oh no!
What is this? More new ears!???
YUP! I decided to make some ears out of my thinner super dense foam.
The current set of ears looked very nice, however they were very wobbly due to the connection to the doll skeleton.
The new ears went on no problem and are super sturdy and very satisfying to play with :)
I also cut out the shapes for his eyes out of the thicker dense foam.
The fake suede for the inside of the ears were sewn up, then airbrushed, then glued to the dense foam. This was done with a contact adhesive called ADOS F2. A respirator and head gun was used to achieve proper adhesion and safety.
This did make the fake suede extremely thick! This will come into play later.

Our new grand total is 260 fabric pieces now that we finally count the ears.
And now I am counting the head and ears so we have 7 foam pieces (eyes will come later)
