To start this project I used some upholstery foam to carve half of the body (of which I would derive a pattern from), and the entire head.
At this time I was unsure how I wanted to tackle the head but had a sneaking suspicion that I would keep the foam as the base.

Next I carved one arm with fingers, drew a pattern from that with duct tape, traced, glued the edges of the fabric, cut and sewed up all 4 arms.
This was a long process! Every finger had 2 unique pieces. That is 8 pieces for 1 hand. He has 4 hands!!!!
Each claw had 2 sides, that is 8 pieces per hand again.
The palm pads are stuffed so that is 2 piece per hand.
2 fur pieces per hand.4 fur pieces per arm.
In total his arms are 96 pieces NOT including the internal bean pouches which adds another 32 pieces total. Arms +hands.
Not to mention all of the darts in said pieces!
